By installing and using YuSub you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app does
YuSub is a macOS app for tagging your YouTube subscriptions, collecting new videos from them, and watching those videos in the app. YuSub is not made by YouTube and is not affiliated with Google LLC.
YouTube's terms apply too
YuSub uses YouTube API Services. By using YuSub you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies as well.
Videos play only in YouTube's official embedded player. YuSub does not download, store, or re-encode video, does not skip advertising, and does not alter how the player behaves.
Your Google Account
Using the app requires a Google account with YouTube. Keeping that account secure is your responsibility, and you can revoke the app's access at any time in your Google Account permissions.
Payment
YuSub is free to download. YuSub Pro is an in-app purchase; payment, refunds and receipts are all handled by Apple. Refunds follow Apple's policy and we cannot issue them on your behalf.
Bought once, kept for good. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
This may change, or stop
This is worth saying plainly. YuSub depends on an API that YouTube provides. Under its own terms, YouTube may change or withdraw that access without notice, and if it does, part or all of YuSub may stop working. That is not within our control.
Which is why the tags you make live on your own device and in your own iCloud, and can be exported from the app. If YuSub stops working, the filing you did does not go with it.
What you may not do
- Reverse-engineer, repurpose, redistribute or resell the app
- Circumvent YouTube API limits, or drive automated bulk requests through the app
- Use the app to breach the YouTube Terms of Service
Warranty and liability
YuSub is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will run without fault or suit any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from its use. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Significant changes will be announced inside the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
